Q: Does this kit come with a warranty?
A: Yes! You're covered by all of the manufacturer warranties on each product and our free, customer & tech support based in Texas!
Q: Can I extend this system in the future?
A: This system is completely expandable. Add more EG4 6.5kW Inverters, EG4 Batteries, and solar panels as expansion is needed. You may find you need more power depending on where in the country you are.
Q: What Solar pannels are provided with this kit?
A: 24 x Bluesun 460 Watt Bifacial Solar Panels (up to 11,040 Watts PV! 6 Panels Per MPPT) - 30 Year Power Warranty
Solar Panels have become a commodity, we do our best to source the most reliable solar panels on the market by brands such as SolarEver, Canadian Solar, Aptos, Mission Solar, Boviet, Hyundai, and QCELLS.
Q: Can I sell a power bag to the grid with this system?
A: No you cannot. But, most people who buy this kit are looking to gain grid and power independence! Solar Panels produce energy during the day when demand for power is at night. EG4 Batteries are the missing link for full off-grid home systems and renewable energy adoption.
Q: How long will my batteries last?
A:The EG4-LifePower4 Battery has a 10-20 year design life with a 5 year warranty. We recommended maintaining a 80% DoD charge to discharge to maximize the lifespan of battery health.
Q: What sort of solar panel racking is included?
A: Most of our customers build their own ground mount system. However, roof mounting components are available on our store if you would prefer a roof mounted solution.
Q: How big is this kit in how does my kit ship?
A: For final install, you will need about 4-6 feet of clear wall space in a garage or desingnated installation space.
We shoot to fit the entire kit in one long format pallet with premium packaging. As particular items reach high demand, some items may ship separately.
Q: How long will it take for me to get my kit?
A: If you're in the main 48 states we do our best to get you your order within 5-15 business days as long as no items are in backorder status. Recently with the mainstream demand for our products, our delivery times to customer's door are averaging around 9-16 business days. You will receive your tracking numbers as soon as they are available. Items in your kit may ship separately.

At The Home Upgrade, we take pride in offering one of the industry's best return policies. You can cancel your order free of charge at any time before it has shipped, with some exceptions for custom-made orders. Cancellations (Before Order Ships):
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as within 24 hours so that we can process a full refund before your order is shipped from the warehouse. Cancellations of Custom Orders:
Custom or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled or refunded, as these products are specifically produced for your order. These units are custom made according to your specifications or created once you place your order. Your warranty ensures that you receive a fully functional and operational product. If you are unsure whether your order is custom or made-to-order, please message or call us for clarification. All sales are final for custom-made and made-to-order products.
Refunds and Returns:
If you need to exchange your product, you may do so, but please note that you, as the customer, are responsible for any shipping costs incurred during the returns and exchange process. Please be aware that not all orders are eligible for return once they have shipped, as we source our products directly from manufacturers. Therefore, if the manufacturer does not permit us to return a product, we are unable to offer you a return. This policy may vary on a case-by-case basis, so please reach out to us for specific information regarding your brand and/or product. Due to the increasing costs of LTL/freight shipping, outright returns will be subject to a 25% cancellation fee plus return shipping costs. However, if you are replacing the product with something else, we may be able to assist with covering some of the costs, depending on the product.

When will I know if my order has shipped?
Once you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This means that we have received your order and authorized your credit card for the purchase. We immediately check with our suppliers to confirm stock availability for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and notify you by email. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. In case of any delay in stock, we will contact you before accepting payment.
When will my order be shipped?
If your order is in stock and we have processed the charges to your credit card, it will be shipped within 2-5 business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided during checkout.
