The Sediment Pre Filter is uniquely designed for the Echo Whole Home Filtration System. The pre filter is the first step in the three-step filtration system known as the Echo Whole Home Filter™. With this system, the source water coming into the home will be uniquely filtered from harmful toxins and overabundant minerals.

As your water passes into the Echo Whole Home Filter™, it will pass through the Sediment Pre Filter and into the main filtration unit, where things like pesticides, pharmaceutical drugs, heavy metals, chlorine, chloramines, fluoride, and hundreds of other harmful chemicals will be filtered.

Due to the Sediment Pre Filter pore size of 20 micron, it is designed to filter out silt and sediments commonly found in your city or source water. The pre filter works to provide longevity and protection to the main filter.
