BigBattery’s 48V ETHOS is here to revolutionize your home’s power. Our all new ETHOS battery system features a fully stackable and modular design, equipped with its own control box, in-depth LED display, and mounting system.
Whether you’re looking to ensure emergency backup power is available in your cabin or tiny home, or you’re looking to outfit your residential home with a powerful solar system, the ETHOS ensures reliable, efficient power delivery through every season. Equipped with an advanced BMS featuring an auto-cell balancing function, an IP65-rated casing, as well as an internal fire suppression system, the ETHOS ensures long-lasting safety and durability. Plus, with its interactive LED display and CANBus/RS485 communication protocols, you’re always able to monitor the health and status of your power. Each ETHOS module is certified to the highest level, including UL9540A & UL1973 certifications, and when paired with a 12000W LUXPower inverter, the whole system is UL9540-certified, affording you the ability to grid-tie your power system and capitalize on net-metering programs and other tax incentives.

How many times can I put this battery in parallel / series?
This battery is not series capable but can be connected in parallel up to eight times. Make sure that the total amount of these batteries in your configuration never exceeds eight total batteries. When connecting batteries in parallel, make sure all batteries are within 1 volt of one another.
How do I connect this battery into my existing system?
Big Battery uses a standard 175 electrical connector. A single battery order will include a 175 Connector to Ring Terminal cable for ease of installation.
Can I connect into this battery's BMS to get extra info?
Our BMS is just there to keep your battery safe and healthy, it does not have the ability to network with any charge controllers or inverters for extra read-outs.
How long will my battery last, and what do I do at the end of its life?
Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifeP04) batteries can be cycled from 3000 to 5000 times. If you cycle the battery daily then you can get more than 10 years of use from your battery. When your battery is at the end of its lifespan, contact us and we'll recycle it for you, free of charge!
What is the warranty on this battery?
The manufacturer offers a comprehensive 10 year warranty on all of our batteries.
