MultiPlus-II 12/3000/120-50 120V (UL): The MultiPlus-II integrates the capabilities of both the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid into a single, versatile unit. It includes all standard MultiPlus functions, along with support for an external current transformer that enables advanced PowerControl and PowerAssist features, as well as improved self-consumption through external current measurement (up to 32A). In addition, the MultiPlus-II incorporates the full functionality of the MultiGrid, including built-in anti-islanding protection and a growing range of international grid certifications. Note: This model was briefly marketed under the name MultiGrid-II.

PowerAssist: The MultiPlus-II helps protect limited AC sources such as generators or shore power connections from overload. When demand rises too high, the system first reduces battery charging automatically. If additional power is still required, it supplements the AC input with energy drawn from the battery to support connected loads.

ESS - Energy Storage Systems: The MultiPlus-II serves as a central element in Victron Energy Storage Systems. With Dynamic ESS functionality, the system intelligently manages power by switching between or combining grid, battery, and solar energy. Decisions are based on real-time energy pricing, forecasted consumption, and expected solar production to prioritize the most cost-effective energy source at any moment.

Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS Function): If grid power fails or an AC source such as shore or generator power is disconnected, the inverter activates automatically and continues supplying power to connected devices. The transition occurs in under 20 milliseconds, allowing sensitive electronics like computers to remain operational without interruption.

Remote Monitoring and Control: When connected to a GX device (such as Cerbo GX), the MultiPlus-II can be monitored and managed locally over a LAN or remotely via the internet. Using the free VRM app and VRM online portal, users can access their system from smartphones, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers. Control options range from basic configuration adjustments to advanced automation, including remote generator start functionality.
