Navitas TAC2 48V AC Controller Upgrade Kit for ICON & Advanced EV (NEOS) — Choose 440A or 600A + On-The-Fly Programmer

Turn your ICON into a hill-climbing, big-tire beast—dial in speed, torque, and regen in seconds with Navitas TAC2 + Bluetooth control.

The Navitas TAC2 kit is built for ICON and Advanced EV carts equipped with a Toyota NEOS M-type controller (AC motor carts). You get instant performance gains—stronger acceleration, better pulling power with passengers, and more confident climbing on hills—without guessing, because you can tune everything in real time.

Use the On-The-Fly Programmer to adjust top speed, acceleration, regen braking, and range bias with a simple turn of the knob. Then unlock the full experience with Bluetooth + Navitas App, turning your phone into an instrument panel with a built-in speedometer, voltage and temperature monitoring, lockout, and diagnostic alerts you can email to a technician/dealer.

Whether you’re keeping it street-smooth or running a lifted setup with bigger tires, this kit delivers predictable throttle feel and stronger power under load—exactly where stock setups usually fall short.

Choose between 440A & 600A

Choose 440A if you want the best all-around upgrade

  • Best for: Most builds, mild-to-moderate lifts, normal hills, everyday riders
  • Why: Big performance gain with more manageable battery demand
  • Battery guidance (Lithium): Aim for ~400A output capability (per Navitas guidance

Choose 600A if you want maximum torque for heavy builds

  • Best for: Lifted carts, large tires, steep hills, heavy loads, aggressive acceleration
  • Why: Highest pulling power and best “power-hold” under load
  • Battery guidance (Lithium): Aim for ~500A+ output capability (per Navitas guidance)
  • Fitment note: Commonly listed for ICON i20/i40/i60 (2017–2021.5) with NEOS M-type (examples: 48M350 / 48M450)

Important: If your battery can’t safely supply the amperage, the controller may need to be tuned down to prevent BMS cutoff or voltage sag.

Tips From the Expert

Confirm NEOS M-type controller first. If your cart has NEOS, it’s typically an AC motor cart.
Don’t skip the solenoid. A heavy-duty solenoid is required for 440A+ setups.
Match the battery to the controller. Lithium needs sufficient discharge output—otherwise you’ll have to tune amps down.
Use proper cables (especially with lead acid). Navitas recommends 4-gauge or bigger heavy-duty battery cables.
Want range + speed? Tune for the way you drive: lower speed settings often deliver noticeably greater range.

FAQs
Will this make my cart go 25 MPH?
It can support up to ~25 MPH on stock 18' tires, but actual speed depends on tire size, cart condition, tuning, and terrain.
Is the 600A faster than the 440A?
Top speed can be similar—600A mainly adds torque and power under load (big tires, hills, heavy builds).
What if my lithium battery can’t supply enough amps?
You may experience BMS cutoff/voltage sag unless you turn the controller output down. In that case, the 440A is often the smarter match.
