Q: Does this product come with a warranty?

A: Yes! You're covered by all of the manufacturer warranties on each product. You may extend the standard manufacturer warranty by purchasing an extension separately from us!

Q: What is the difference between a pure sine wave inverter and a modified sine wave inverter?

A: A pure sine wave inverter produces a clean and stable power output, similar to the power supplied by utility companies. It is suitable for running sensitive electronic devices like laptops and medical equipment. On the other hand, a modified sine wave inverter is more affordable but may produce a slightly distorted power output, which can affect the performance of some devices.

Q: Can I use an inverter with solar panels to generate my own electricity?

A: Yes, you can connect solar panels to an inverter to convert the DC power generated by the panels into AC power for use in your home or business. This allows you to harness renewable energy and reduce your reliance on the grid.

Q: How do I determine the right size of battery for my power needs?

A: The size of the battery depends on factors such as the power consumption of your devices, the duration of backup power needed, and the charging capacity of the inverter. It's important to consider these factors and consult with our experts to ensure you choose the right battery capacity to meet your specific requirements.

Q: Can I connect multiple batteries together for increased backup capacity?

A: Yes, it is possible to connect multiple batteries in parallel to increase the overall backup capacity. This allows you to extend the runtime of your devices during power outages or when operating off-grid. Our team can provide guidance on the proper configuration and setup for connecting multiple batteries.

Q: Can I extend my system in the future? 

A: This system is completely expandable. Add more EG4 6.5kW Inverters, EG4 Batteries, and solar panels as expansion is needed. You may find you need more power depending on where in the country you are.

Q: How long will it take for me to get my order? 

A: If you're in the main 48 states we do our best to get you your order within 5-15 business days as long as no items are in backorder status. Recently with the mainstream demand for our products, our delivery times to customer's door are averaging around 9-16 business days. You will receive your tracking numbers as soon as they are available. 

Return & Refund Policy

Returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis.
All returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 40% of the original invoice. To be eligible for a full return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@thehomeupgrade.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Used and Installed Product:

It may be possible to return a working, used piece of equipment. This is on a case-by-case basis. The unit must be fully functioning and have all original accessories and packaging. The unit will be subject to further inspection to ensure working and in a resalable condition. 

• Must be within 30 days of purchase
• Subject to a 40% restocking fee
• Customers will be provided with an RMA label but the shipping cost will be taken from their total refund.

Shipping Policy

If you discover damage or a shortage, here are the steps that need to be taken:

• YOU MUST Note the damage or shortage on the Driver's Copy of the Delivery Receipt
•  Any damages found without notation upon delivery may be refused by shipper. 
• Take Detailed Photos of the pallet upon delivery. Take images of it on the freight truck. Take images of ANY damage, individual images for each damaged piece of equipment
• Notify our team (support@thehomeupgrade.com) AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. If not noted within 48hrs your claim may be denied by the freight company.

In order to receive any refund or replacement, all damages to materials must be noted on the customer’s receipt at the time of delivery.

Customers MUST provide images of the damage and of a signed/notated delivery receipt provided by the driver at the time of delivery and MUST email these photos to the support team within 3 days of delivery in order to be considered for a freight claim.

Any damages found without notation upon delivery may be refused by the shipper.
